Suit: Police Negligent in Fatal Fall
A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against three police officers in Overland, Mo., after they allegedly pushed a man down the stairs in his home, leading to his death. Kenneth Hamilton died of massive head injuries on March 25, five days after his tumble.
The lawsuit claims that three officers came to Hamilton's home to investigate a traffic incident in which they believed he was involved. According to the suit, one of the officers pushed Hamilton down the stairs while in his home and then the three of them left without calling for medical attention.
