PA. State Police Sued for Retaliation
A lawsuit filed by the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association against the Pennsylvania State Police and several former and current employees alleges the state police retaliated against the union’s leaders involved in handling grievances. The union contends that commissioners at the agency worked to protect an “inner circle” of staff and did not follow up on accusations of misconduct. The agency denies the allegations in the suit and issued a statement that union members were treated legally, although a spokesperson declined to comment.
